Default AN-R header

I am thinking about getting the anr's and wondering if they come with an o2 sensor?

they seem like they dont, and if not, how hard would it be to drill one in and get it setup?
along with welding on the flange

anyone recomend where i can purchace a flange? or am i going to need to make one of those too

00' b15a2

thanks

My ANR header came with a hole for an 02.
It shows pics of the 02 hole on the website. http://www.an-r.com

You can get a flange from any muffler shop like sleeperciv mentioned.
They're about 3.50.
I highly recommend using a flex pipe with the ANR header as well.

The AN-R header does come with a primary 02 if you want a secondary they can add one in as well. The AN-R has an expansion joint so the flex pipe is not needed. Any muffler shop will have a 2 bolt flange or you can order one from kteller.com

That's what I paid for them.

What they told me, as well as DV/DT engineering.

You should ALWAYS use a flex pipe with both types of ANR headers.

how do you squeeze a flex pipe when running a cat back exhaust? is there any room?

You could get a flange made, and use the "expansion" pipe as stormy said, and watch the header crack shortly after, or you could add the flex pipe right after the header, then the cat. You're going to have to customize your exhaust anyway. Although I don't know anyone running that header w/a cat.

man I love posts like this. I had the very first AN-R header for a D series on a street car with no flange for 2 years on a d15. After I sold the car I had them blasted and recoated - no cracks -

Man I love posts like this. They assume that if nothing went wrong with their set up, then no one else will ever have any problems.

Yeah I guess on a daily driven race car they would never have to endure much like some of the hottest driving conditions in recorded history or the streets of so cal or the salted iceways where they live now

You do not need a flex pipe for a AN-R header. ive had mine for quite a while not a single crack. made over 40 passes OPEN header. and several passes with full exhaust. i beat the hell out of my car al the time. and the header is still in mint condition
