Just wanting some input on these turbos are they any good ? i only want people that have actually used them 1st hand not jsut somthing you heard . there is the link to it

i saw a thread that a guy had that turbo and the intake side broke off, he said it looked like it was glued. do a search i bet you will find your answer. my $.02

Hey when i first decided to go turbo these xs power/ stone racing whatever turbos interested me to but i searched like crazy and talked to other folks and for every one person that didint have a problem 20 people did... bearings going, turbos literally breaking all types of stuff their other products get just as bad a rep to... well all i can tell you is "a foolish man learns from his own mistakes, a wise man from the mistakes of others" just my .02 cents as well if you search well you'll find better stuff i ended up getting a garrett t3 super 60 of ebay for only 215.00 but i searched for like a month

LOL! you think he would have been generous enough to use an epoxy or something instead of wood glue

 

yea a friend of mine has the same turbo , it blew the seals in less that 3k miles , i wouldnt put it in if i got it for free, too much hassles

I am most likely going to get one of these turbo's and try it out....it's only $250 which is not very much.
I'm one of those..."i gotta find out for myself" kinda guys.
I know, i know...everything on H-T that concerns "SSAC", "SMR"and "XS POWER"
is all bad news...you dont hear too much good news about these companys...although you do see thier manifolds on peoples cars here on H-T every now and then, but they never post who they got it from...they just say "ebay mani" or "no name mani" but we all know what it is...and thier manifolds look great...i had to pick one up.
thier Ebay ratings are wayy up there with a sh-load of postive feedback. you would think if thier product sucked they would have negative feedback up the **** which is not the case... you know people on ebay dont send any type of feedback before they actually get the part...thats just ridiculous.

I want to hear from some people who own the above stated companys products.
let them tell us whats up
come on people...i know its embarassing and all because of the companys bad H-T rep...but you need to come forward and say "yeah i got a xs-power manifold/turbo/wastegate/etc and i havent had any problems with it"
haha ..who knows maybe these people dont exist on H-T, but they do exist...statistics prove it.

Im not picking sides or anything...but i dont like it when people repeat what they hear and then they repeat it and so forth...i believe this is whats happening.
correct me if im wrong...but, do we want to hate this company here at H-T?

Again....all I am trying to do is learn more, plus the controversy i feel im about to create by posting this will help all of us learn...even if it means i get flamed upon.

yeah they GET The part and fedback that the manifold looks good and shipping was fast. but who bothers to go back and try to post again that they're not happy? is it even possible on ebay to post up another " update" that their manifolds cracked? most people buy it and leave it chillen on their shelf for like half a year before they install anyways.

ebay will not let you send another feedback for any user once you already have the first time.....
