motor mount broke (pics inside)
Yeah so i have a 1990 acura integra ls. About 6 months ago i put a 94 and up jdm b18b in there. all of the motor mounts lined up except for one. so on the right side of my engine it sat a little bit crooked. I was at my girlfriends grandparents house leaving when suddenly my car wouldnt go anywhere. having to replace axles before i automaticlly knew wat was wrong. I get under there to change it and notice that the motor mount had collapsed causing the motor to fall on the axle causing that to snap in half. I was wondering if any of you reccomend that I replace the motor mount? And if so should I get a b18a one or a b18b one. And maybe some sites that would carry them. (price dosent matter). Thanks for all your help sorry if the pics came out too big.

Have you checked out : Avid Racing, ENJO or HASport motor mounts?
http://www.hasport.com/
or
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/nc...r=361
or
http://www.importstreetscenes....ounts/
They offer motor mounts specifically for swaps..
Most likely you would have to replace the mount on the engine first.. the b18b mount.
Then you would be better to purchase an ENJO mount made specifically for a DA with a b18b swap.

I guess HAsport has no love for the DA eh? What's the deal with that, I know they make them..

The problem is you are using a mount intended for a 94 chassis in a 90 chassis. The mount locations are different by an inch or two. You need a right side mount from a b18a, including the bracket that actually bolts to the block. When you get one, hold it next to the 94 mount and you'll see the 90 mount is offset a little bit. That sucks that it took out your axle, because the difference is not very big.
