Default new guy need advise............

Yeah whats up, i came a couple of times to this site b4 i signed up and saw that there was a lot of good advise, well i have a 98 civic lx and just recently my engine blowed up, ive been thinking, h22 or b18c, and now im getting a h22 and i want to push it to another level, is there some one out there that can give me some advise, some guidance to the right way of do it, i want at least 600whp and high torque, with turbo.

w/e you do, since you dont know to much it seems like, make it some jap. muscle car
tune the engine and all that. dont just slap on a turbo

As everybody else stated, try using the search (especially under the Forced Induction section). It will really help you out to get all the info you need.

But as for your question at hand, it will take time and money to make that much power. H22's usually don't sustain to high boost in stock trim. Their ringlands usually go first or the sleeves. The sleeves are an FRM composite sleeves and are different than the b-series sleeves. A good thing to do is have the block sleeved, and go ahead and build the motor. ALOT of money will be spent on turbo parts as well. For that type of setup, I''d contaact Fullrace, Lovefab, Precision, Arturbo, Flamenco-T and a few others for your setup needs
