is this possible? 91 accord prob
i put in a new ignition coil and car ran fine could the ignition coil going out lead to igniter going bad? im just trying to trace this down as car is not even throwing any codes ecu light just stays solid.no blinking what so ever....... and also what does a bad igniterlook like or what are some signs to look for?

I know you're fed up with the car, but if you want help, you have to be more specific as to what the car is doing.
My initial guess (and that's all I can do without further info), is that you have a bad ignitor. One question, do you have aftermarket plug wires?

are you sure that the ignition switch is putting thru power to the black/yellow wire at the dist when the car dies? The ground at the T-stat housing is clean & tight?
How long does it run before it dies? Does the ignition key get warmed up when it's running?
