Default RSX problems

Alright.

I'll make it short.

I recently installed some GC Coilovers on my 02 RSX. First it only made a really bad grinding sound when I turned left. A metal on metal screech. The problem has now progressed over the weekend to a constant road noise sound. I can feel the vibrations in my brake pedal, and it over powers the sound of my motor (no exhaust)

I pushed the dust shield further back, no help. Now when I turn both ways the metal grind is there.

I got a ticket for swerving trying to analyze my car too.

Any ideas what the problem is?

CV joint/shafts?

Thanks,
Miles

check your tie rods, RSX's seem to have this problem, when they are lowered to much the tie rod can hit the chasis. an easy fix is to remove your coilovers, bore a tapered hole where the the tie rods connect to the strut, but bore the hole on the opposite side of the existing hole, and simply flip your tierod ends upside down. sorry if this sounds confusing, there is a write up on it on clubrsx, I'll see if I can find it for you.

Make sure the coilover sleeve is properly seated. I've used them along time ago in preludes and integras and what happen was the spring was rubbing the sleeve.
