I have a d16z6 with new p29 pistons and new rods bearings etc..(13:1). I ported and polished the head and intake manifold. I want to run a 50 shot. Would that be safe to run with stock head internals or should I get high performance springs, retainers, and possible valves. I also want to get a cam and camgear for it. Tell me what you think. Thanks

 

at that high of a compression I wouldn't run any shot of NoS

at 12:1 maybe I had it at 50 on 11:5 but I removed it just to be safe

Unless u got spare head/blocks then

go for it
