question on cleaning welds on a manifold
going to start making a "weld el" manifold for my volvo B234F/ford 2.3t hybrid and I'm trying to figure out how to clean out the excess material inside the last center chunk weld after I get it all together.
I'm using a ghetto old *** flux core welder since it's what I got, I aint a rich boi
once I join the last two middle joints I cant see how I can get a grinder in there to get it all cleaned out with the slag and crap. I dont want something breaking loose down the road and taking out my turbine.
about the only thing I can think of would be to get it extrude honed but I dont want to pay for that haha.

You shouldn't need to clean out the inside of the piping, even with flux core. Just make sure your fitup is perfect and you won't have that problem.
cool deal, I just know that one time in the past I ended up with a piece of wire jutting on the other side and didn't want to worry about that on this "just in case"
well...here goes nothing lol!
