Default only use NGK plugs.

I recently learned the hard way as did another friend, on the same exact day. Dont use either Denso iridum nor Zex turbo/nitrous plugs (they are actually made by champion)

please heed my advice if you love your engine.

Beleive me when i say do not use the irdium denso or ZEX turbo/nitrous plugs in your rides. They are scrap compared to std NGK plugs.

I have tested alot of things during my racing seasons and i can verify that they indeed will blow up **** inside your motor at high rpms. I have seen it done in person. They jsut start to fail at high EGT and high rpms loads.

usually for every 50 shot i would go 1 step colder from the factory. the 7s would be fine i would also reccommend retard timing by couple of degress

The 6 means one step colder, 7 is two steps colder! Go with the 7's if you run +50HP over stock or more.

What about the NGK Iridiums? If they suck also does NGK at least make a plug that is 3 or 4 steps colder. My last run of the season i cranked the boost up a little bit higher than normal and the plug (Autolite 3942 gapped at .32) evaporated. No detonation or high egt's the whole tip it just disappeared. Any suggestions on what plug for my new motor 2.0 LS with plans to boost 24-26 psi.

I should have taken a pitcure of what my Denso Iridiums looked like after just a couple of months. The electrodes were completely rounded off. They looked like hell, and performed worse. I learned my lesson. Thankfully it only cost me a set of plugs. I stick to NGK now.

BCPR7E-11's here.. work great except I have a little trouble starting more often now and the occasion stumble while driving at low rpms. From what I gather it's simply a cold plug issue, but for 10psi, works wonders
