I have a B and M short shifter with Prothane bushings, it is really nice set-up so far, but today after school i drive my car and the shifting is progressively stiffer in each higher gear, it is really hard to go from 4th to fifth and this is way different than how it felt since i put the short shifter on. Has anyone had this problem before, i checked the stabilizer bushing and bolts and the shift linkage. Is there not enough tranny fluid in it? Bent shift fork?
-thanks, kyle

After you put in new bushings for the shift linkage and stablizer it's supposed to be stiff as hell, now the rubbery part i'm not sure.

ive had the parts since summer, and today was the first time i have had this problem
Maybe it's just the weather.. did it get colder all of the sudden? Because I know it's around -2° outside my door right now. If not maybe your clutch is going.

turns out the bolt at the bottom of shifter was just too tight, and the grease dried out or something. Problem fixed
Glad to hear that Kyle! Sorry I couldn't help you out a little more at the Harbor; hey at least I suggested there might have been something wrong with the bolt (collects 1 brownie point) on your linkage, so I wasn't totally useless LOL
