Which engine would you be able to squeeze the most hp out of? The c1 or the c5. I read that the c5 doesn't leave much room for hp gains besides forced induction or NOS. And the c1 is perfect for turbo, or supercharging, and can have up to 230hp if you do it right. Does anybody know anything else about this? Can the c1 be tweaked more than the c5, in the end making it faster than a c5...

 

you are right to an extent, the C5 has less to improve on, but there is still lots of potential. the real question you need to ask yourself, is what set up you want to run, N/A F/I. Set a power goal, and then choose what motor best suites your needs.

the c5 has slightly high compression for boost, but it can still be done. Now the c1 can take boost all day, a guy on here at 9 psi made 294or so whp on stock internals, thats pretty amazing, i would go with the c1 for and FI applications and the c5 for NA
