Default heater not working where is the thermostat located?

Our heater is not working, coolant temp gauge not working either. Where is the thermostat located in the 1990 crx?

Figured that we would try to replace the temp gauge and if that doesn't work move on...

We warmed the car up and felt the hoses, the hose that was coming from the bottom of the radiator was cooler than the other one. But they were both warm, not hot not cold.

Can anyone help? Please? Thanks!

thermostat is located on the block. You'll need to remove the lower radiator hose at the block and you'll see it inside. You should invest in a factory manula too as it has everything you need to know info-wise on doing mechanical stuff yourself.

check the heater core air flap cable. its different than the cable that opens the valve to the heater hoses. it directs air through the heater core or not. its just under the heater core, if you crawl underneath and poke your head right behind the center console and look up, youll see it. make sure thats still connected and adjusted properly. they have a tendency to become loose after a long time.

Good info. That is why mine was blowing cold air, wasn't connected anymore.
