p13 ecu help (need to make it stock program again )
is there a jumper to cut in this ecu ........i need to put it back to the stock bin instead of my shitty spoon crap /......thanks guys
you need to either get someone to reburn you a stock chip, which will never come out right.....
when they wrote the spoon program to your chip, it erased the stock one, so no, no jumper or anything, just someone needs to burn a program to it, and it will never be as good as the stock one....
or you could just buy a new ecu....i have one to sell(hint hint)

yes you can cut one of the jumpers near the chip that was intalled, i will have to fidn a picture or when you post up a pic of the inside of ecu i can tell you what to cut

actually you are in correct, you can not overwrite the stock bin , the way an ecu is chipped is they install a socket some resistors and a jumper wire to tell the ecu to read a none stock or modiffied bin, hence called chipping an ecu,
unless someone was an absolute idiot and did some other crazy modifications to the ecu then he can just cut the jumper,

thats not how p13s work, there is no magic jumper to cut, because the stock program is already on an external rom, so what you need to do is to either pop ur stock chip back in, which sounds like you dont have anymore, or have something burn you a stock bin on a new chip and pop that one in.

shitty deal...i did on a whim desoldered the j1 resistor and at least it starts...solid cel witch means its not working
i guess ill have to get ahold of my tuner and have him ups me a new bin since i cant do these from uberdata

yep i stand corrected, my bad i was thinking of the p72/p28 faimly,
so you will need to get a chip with a h22 bin burned to it, sorry about the confusion
