Rota hub centering ring?
I have the c8's. The shop where I got them from said Rotas don't have a ring available because they don't need it. I didn't really trust him on that, but since I didn't want to go searching for the rings somewhere else, I just installed them like that. I've had no problems...
Centering rings only making putting the wheel on a little easier. Once the lug nuts are torqued, they serve no purpose whatsoever (except to melt under high temperatures). The trick is to simply tighten the lug nuts evenly and gradually to make sure they pull the wheel into position. Once you get four lugs torqued at 75 ft-lbs, it's the friction between the wheel and the hub that takes vertical loads (and front-back loads), and it's the studs that take cornering loads. And it takes in excess of 20,000 lbs of force to break the friction between wheel and hub. I can't tell you the math, but it was all laid-out to me by an SAE graduate when I got my Enkei RP-01s and was worried about the centering rings.

Any of you that have bought rota slipstreams or subzeros. What did you do about the centering rings because they don't come with them?
