Well the cars not running yet but the car is back at my house. The shop i took it to couldnt do the wiring without wanting to charge a whole lot. So I took it out of the shop and brought it home to finish it up with a few friends.

We had some problems getting it home. The biggest was the downpipe. It was too low and got caught on the trailer which caused my friends truck to pull the car and trailer as one which seperated the car from the ramps. As a result my car fell on the ramp and landed on the downpipe. Fortunately the front wheels were on the ground so there wasnt too much pressure on the downpipe. After 6 hours or so (the car was stuck on the trailer for 2) we finally got it to my house.

Im not too worried about it because the front tire is low and the suspension is lowered a little too much on the one side. Once i get those two taken care of i dont imagine that much scraping.

Right now we're working on the wiring. We have three harnesses that we are trying to use to create one working engine harness.

yeah i knew it would be low but not that low. Hopefully when i raise it up a bit and fully inflate the tires it wont be as big of an issue

 

sparks are gonna be flying at night with that exhaust hanging down that low, i bet even after you raise the car up.

 

turns out the problem with the downpipe is they put a stock h22a downpipe instead of the DC Sports downpipe. Ill go get my downpipe tomorrow and hopefully thatll help a little bit.

 

looks good. hello torque! i had thought about doing the same a while ago, but its not very cost effective for me. can wait to hear how yours turns out though.

your motor looks like it was mounted "low" in the engine bay, like it could actually be a inch closer to the hood. im sure it was mounted in accordance with the tranny becaue of the CV joints tho, but i dont know how physically bit the 2.3L motor is.
