Default Spark plugs? Hp?

Alright this has been on my mind for the longest time, Do spark plugs give you Horsepower at all? I just bought some spark plugs that are 9mm thick.... It was a big argument between both of my friends. My friend disgreed totally that it didnt give me any horsepower at all. I mean.. the only way to find out is to dyno it righT?.....

Depending on your application, spark plugs can make power. If you are running a shitty plug on a 350 hp turbo motor, and you replace them with better plugs, then yes you will make more power. Air, spark, fuel, and combustion is what makes power, hence helping in either department will help you make power in certain circumstances. However, if you have a bone stock d15 then I doubt you are gonna pick up any or much of a gain by replacing the plugs with something overkill.

he probably talkin bout the wires...if your running a STOCK motor then the plugs will give u about 1 hp....exactly!

You really only need upgraded plugs if u are: All motor, Turbo, or N2o. But if your engines stock...do sumthin else
