Bosch Platinum spark plugs 4227
I was recommended from a good friend of mine to use these plugs in my car.
Have any of you guys had any good or bad experiences with them. My car is a 99 Si that's basically stock and I'm just looking for some plugs that are good and inexpensive.

Where are you getting those? I get either Denso or NGK (OEM) from Autozone for around 1.10.

30 bucks for a set of plugs?! NGK Standards are 1.69 a piece at Kragen. I change them every 5 grand. To each his own I guess.

From the factory, Honda puts ngk platinum's in b16/b18 etc. these plugs run at least $8/plug. An alternative is ngk standards. But do you get the same performance from them??

Exactly. No need for this platinum 4+ super duper iridium max power plug crap. NGK Standards $1.69 each. That's all you need.

Re: Bosch Platinum spark plugs 4227 (LOSERboy)
I had regular Bosch platinums in my GMC Sierra for about 30k miles. When I pulled them out they looked good as new.
I just put a new set in my 97 EX after I bought it about two months ago. So far so good.

OEM plugs are NOT $8 a piece. I can get OEM plugs from Honda for $3 a piece or be smart and get the same ones at AutoZone for $2 a piece. I get all 4 for less than $8.
Stick to OEM NGK.
FIY, the OEM NGK from Honda are $13.36.
98079-56A7S SPARK PLUG (PFR6L-13) (NGK) $13.36
I bet your local auto parts store has them for less than $3 a piece.
