which wire for rpm signal?

Default which wire for rpm signal?

I have a sohc vtec with a (1990) si ecu and distributor. I have a rpm activated shift light to activate the vtec. Which wire should I tap into for the rpm signal?

I believe its the blue wire. On the 2 pin plug

corect. if u dont want to go thoughthe firewall the same signal is at ur gauge cluster it's a solid blue wire
