Default Help with BOV clearance in hybrid (92 civic with b18c1)

Hello, I am in the process of installing the Drag 3 into my 92 Civic with B18c1. Everything is going well. However, as I am installing the Greddy Type S BoV into my skunk manifold with Holley throttle body. It's sticking too high. It is obvious I will have a hood clearance. I've been doing a search and seeing people having hood clearance with their Wastegates, but I am not having problem with that. The skunk manifold is a little higher than the stock manifold to begin with, so what is the altenative to this?

Maybe some pics would help to describe my problem. In the first pic is the complete engine bay. Can anyone tell me where the item #1 goes to? ( I presume its part of the air filter piping). Then here comes the main problem; if I raise the #2 to meet the throttle body, the BOV would then be sticking straight out of the hood. In the second pic, you will see the obvious hood clearance.

#1 goes on the air intake side of the tubo.

It seems to me that you have a GSR drag kit for you car... but you do not have the GSR intake manifold. The GSR unit has the throttle body lower than the ITR (?) intake manifold.... that would give you the clearance for the hood.

As in my previous post, I did say I have a skunk 2 intake manifold. Those manifold sits higher than the stock GSR.

As in my post... it looks like you have a GSR kit...

I suggest getting a ITR (or B16 SI) intake tube to help with the issue.
