Default Please take a second to advise. 99 d16y7 in 89 civic. Setting timing.

Just had some questions about setting the timing.

Motor is a 1999 D16y7. IM using the 89 distributor. THe crank pulley is from the 99 motor. I put the 89 crank pulley and the 99 crank pully next to each other and the marks are off by about a 1/2 an inch. SO, i assume when you time it, you have to use different marks??? Any tips on this. Car just isnt running very well.

ANy help?
