1987 Honda prelude si
Well i want to buy a honda prelude and my friends dad has a 1987 Honda prelude 2.0 si Black with sunroof but needs some interior work. He said he would sell to me for 800. It's got 250,000 miles on it and is a 5 speed manaul and the car runs. when shifting into third if you don't hold the clutch for 2 seconds it makes alittle grinding noise. It's not like really bad and it goes in gear and everything.
DO you guys think it's a pretty good deal?

i have one in red i got it for 800 and its basically perfect except the exhaust fell off and the master cylinder was bad
then i put it into a curb.......now i got it fixed and the only complaints i have is it needs bigger wheels and tires thats about it....mine does have frame rot near the front of the cockpit subframe so watch out for that on high mileage cars, internals are very strong and last a long time even if boosted
but if it grinds thats not good and mine only has 187k

If you can live with the grinding, work it man. I love an 800 dollar car.
Use honda-tech and that 3rd gen. site (preludepower) to check up on stuff before you buy it though.

im buying a 89 for 275 bucks and it has 120K.
it has been broken into and misc. things are missing under the hood. radiator hoses, power steering pulling, battery, and some small things.
800 for 250K over priced. tell him you got 650$s and see what he says.
