I'm trying to replace the drivers side axle seal on the transmission in my 91 CRX Si. How deep do you set the seal? Or does it set flush as in the picture below and the axle when seated makes the seal on the inside? Its been a while since I removed the old one and I can't remember so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Set it so the outside is flush with the case.

I can't see the rear but the sides and front look ok.
