should i purchase a new gasket
i recently installed dc sport 4-2-1 ceramic header to my cd5 accord. im at 128xxx miles right now. should i have bought a new gasket or should i be fine? thanks
I dont see why you would exactly need one, but its always a good idea to change it. I'd change it since you have it already.
*edit* nevermind I can think of like 16 reasons why you'd need it if your old one is fucked.

You should be fine with reusing the old gasket as long as it was intact when removed for the install. And make sure the header bolts are torques back to spec to get the right amount of "crush" on the gasket. I have reused this kind of gasket before with out any problems. You should be fine
A lot of people on here suggest replacing the header gasket because it is shaped to the stock exhaust manifold, and once you put the new header on, the flange may be somewhat different and not seal correctly.
But I've never had any problems swapping a DC header with my stock exhaust manifold several times, reused that gasket probably 3-4 times.
