99-00 Rear Bumper Question.
Hey guys, I just got a 99-00 OEM Rear Lip, but the problem is that I have a 96-98 rear bumper. So if I get my hands on a 99-00 rear bumper, would it fit without any modifications of somesort? or is there any way that I can fit the 99-00 OEM rear lip onto my 96-98 rear bumper?

I recall seeing this in the past, but didn't it have a nasty gap between the lip and bumper? Maybe you'll just have to make new holes in the wheel well and mount it a little higher than usual.

there is a difference in 96-98 and 99-00 rear coupe bumpers, but only on the bottom half so they will fit any year 96-00 coupe. the lip however, is a different story. i have seen some guys mod a 96-98 lip to fit a 99-00 rear bumper (seanjohn1802 i believe) but i have not seen it vice versa. best route to take would be to get a 99-00 rear bumper, and everything should bolt right up

the 99-00 bottom has more of a flare out lip as the 96-98 bottom has more of a lip that goes in. otherwise like i said fits with nothing more than taking your old one of and putting the new one on. i have done this on my 97.

i believe there are some slight differences between the two rear bumpers.
edit: nevermind, it's already been mentioned.
