I would just keep the b18a and put in the p30 pistons, but me personaly, I wouldn't go with the 404's, instead id go with the 403. keep the b18a, it may have less power than the b16, but its got more torque.
And another thing, but this is just my two cents... since your gonna get some pistons, why not save up some more $$ and get some rods while your at it. Then get the cams, and upgrade the valvetrain while your at it.

There's a kid around here with a B16 in his DA and he's quite a bit slower than my LS. Then again, it takes him 10 years to shift so it's probably close to the same. Just stick with the B18A.

I agree, you will bedisappointed if you swap to a B16 and find out that you are slower than before! B16 IMO is a junk motor. Good motor to learn on but not very much worth anything!

junk motor? Omiman doesn't seem to mind. 200whp B16A stock block, 91 octane.

Junk motor is my opinion! The B16 is a good platform to learn to build on but it has no torque and takes forever to make power and even making 200 whp how long does it take to make 200 whp that is probably peak hp; but what does the powerband look like.
