well, i just got my car from a dealership not more than a week ago. this is the second day i drove it because i was out of town the whole week. anyways, tonight i wanted to cruise with the top down. as it was going down a heard a crack and it was the plastic window. i was wondering if i have to change the whole top or some how replace the plastic. thanks!

 

you can just replace the plastic... was it cold out?? and i think you should take it back to the dealer and see if they can warranty it for you since you just bought it...now if you bought it from a private seller.. i suggest you just upgrade to the 02+ tops with the glass rear window and defroster....

 

same thing happen to mine.....damn stupid plastic.

 

if you bough it from dealer, take it back and they should fix it. you have some sort of warranty on it
