convert only the sunroof glass to carbon fiber ?
I searched and keep gettin the same results. Has anybody successfully replaced the sunroof glass in their EG with carbon fiber and still be able to use the sunroof ??? Pics would be most helpful. Any info on where or how it was done, holler back !!!
Seems like anyone who's done this conversion doesn't want to retain the use of their sunroof. It's just a creature comfort but would obviously save a few pounds. And damn, how good would a retractable carbon fiber sunroof be.
Hit me back...

Because all the mounting and motor stuff adds weight as well, so why keep it. If you're not tracking your car, and want to retain roof function, just leave it; it's not going to make any difference at all.
