Default JDM Speedo question

Today i noticed that my Jdm lude had markings for auto transmission on the speedo, is this normal as my car is a manual?

your car must have had a tranny swap or speedo swap. 94 and newer usdm had the EL gauges like yours

Obviously you have a cluster from an Auto, not a manual. How could you not notice that??

my stearing wheel covers most of it and i clearly drive with my eyes shut..

also would the auto still have a rpm counter as mine does and auto cars in the uk dont?

Either your gauges were swapped (they are from auto F22B, assuming it's JDM. Look at the redline- VTEC's have it from 7300-7400) or your whole engine had been swapped before you have bought it.

its a jdm h22 and the gauge goes upto to 8000 rpm.

if its had a swap from auto to manual, is there anything else i can check to find out.

and why would anyone put auto gauges in a manual

Because EL gauges are bling, bling

What is your VIN? JHMBB4 or JHMBB1? If not, the engine was swapped.

if it's BB4 then your gauges are swapped. Period. But they are cool
