JDM Speedo question

Either your gauges were swapped (they are from auto F22B, assuming it's JDM. Look at the redline- VTEC's have it from 7300-7400) or your whole engine had been swapped before you have bought it.
its a jdm h22 and the gauge goes upto to 8000 rpm.
if its had a swap from auto to manual, is there anything else i can check to find out.
and why would anyone put auto gauges in a manual

Because EL gauges are bling, bling
What is your VIN? JHMBB4 or JHMBB1? If not, the engine was swapped.
