well exclude 1993 because there wasn't a VTEC model made that.
start from 94-97. supposing they made equal amounts of all models, divide it by three.
94 - 7,025
95 - 4,673
96 - 2,829
97 - 1,867
just a guestimate until somebody knows the real answer.

Eh, I don't think they made equal amounts so it could be less than 10000..
Well, thanks for your help I got the answer I was lookin' for!

When you say VTEC'S, you are referring to the DOHC model n not the Si, right ? I saw on one of your posts that you believed that the same year Civic Si had the same motor as the Del Sol VTEC, they do not. The DOHC model is the rarest Del Sol model.

50% sold had the d16
41% had the non vtec
only 9% had the b16
So yea there harder to find, but you can easily swap one into your car, the proplem tho is you have to get the shift linkage from a vtec sol unless you want to cut and weld one from a civic to work There shaped differently and shorter then the civics. Theres a pic of all the different ones on here somewhere.
I have a d16z6 in my sol, and sols are hard to find in my area so i picked her up when i found her. A 95 with 80k good shape, few specs of rust (Wisconsin winters suck ***!).
