Will i have any problems putting a 96-98 vtec head on a 99-00 block? Is it the exact same thing as if i'm putting it on a 96-98 block? I'll be using a obd2b ecu of course. TIA guys

im pretty sure the 99-00 is obd2 A where the 96-98 is obd2 B

96-98 obd2a 99-00 is obd2b. i was just wondering if i'll have any problems putting a 96-98 head on a 99-00 block and using an obd2b p2p

 

you should be able to swap out the heads with no issue. you'll need a p2p ecu becasue the y7 ECU doesnt have a vtec wire.
