Default jdm d15b non-vtec help!!!!

this is gonna sound weird but any way i have a jdm d15b non-vtec in my 93 hatch right now and i was wondering does anyone else have this motor, and what the hell did it come out of?Or is their really a non-vtec version.I bought the motor about four years ago before i really knew anything about hondas cause belive me i would have bought something better because it's a turd. Also it throws a constant CEL is the motor obd-0 or am i running the wrong ECU i'm pretty sure the ECU is a p06 the hatch is a cx so it had the d15b8 eight valve motor when i did the swap i changed the ECU to what i thought was the right usdm 1.5 -5 speed ecu
any help would be great THANKS in advance

i have the same motor. It says "d15B" but it is not vtec and it is not that fast. I have been trying to find out what car it came from but all i know is that it is pre-92. maybe some one will help us out cause i want to know where my motor came from.
BTW i bought my car with the swap already.

yea i looked at this site and the only d15b their showing is the one with vtec, but like nicehatchy said he thinks his is pre-92,and if mine is pre-92 then thats gotta be why it's throwing a constant CEL. see i had my dad's guy put it in before i really knew how to do it he might of used the dizzy from the 8 valve motor i don't know?
maybe even wrong ecu my brother has the same motor in a 4 door with the rear doors welded shut and his whole bodykit moled and air bages he's still faster then me it don' make sense i'm in a hatch so i know i'm twice as lite as he is
