Guys I just got back from vacation in St. Vincent, a very little Island in the southern caribbean and I was surprised to find that the guys there are into Rally racing, "Big Time" I was able to get a pic of one of the cars, an awd turbocharged Pulsar GTI-R, complete with a Haltec EK6, 720cc injectors, MSD Digital 7, Aeromotive 1000cc pump, and a lot of other goodies. The car was under construction and the owner is trying to get 400whp out of it.


Follow this link for more pics, there are also a lot of cars shipped directly from Japan, like the Sylvia, Lots of SuperCharged or Turbocharged Toyotas and Mazdas, I even saw three Subarus, all turbocharged, a WRX, a 2 door turbocharged version and I personally had for a day, a twin staged twin turbocharged station wagon with 17" wheels a body kit, 3 inch cat-back exhaust and an apex Hi performance ecu----all from the factory. this car was awesome.

NICE! That sounds ALOT like a buddy of mine who's trip take him to Dominica! Lots of racers down there! All the Jap Only cars you can get your hands on! He used to own a early 90's Levin Supercharged!

 

Those and the Tuernos were a daily occurance. some were heavily modded others were stock, but either way they ran like crazy. They get to drag race and/or rally every weekend. I also went to Grenada where they use an old abandoned airport runaway which is over a mile long to do their "dirty trix" They actually have the backing and permission of the government. They have clubs all over the island.

man, maybe you should take a trip down to trinidad! here we have every possible japanese sports cars-heavily modify,stock etc. Cars like skylines (R-32, 33 , 34's, evos 1-7, subaru's, civic & integra R's, pulsar GTI-R's. the list goes on.

 

Yes, I heard about T&T as well, U guys are rocking, I saw 2 Skylines a 4 door and the R-32 there is also one white Evo 7, that is always parked outside of the Prime Minister's office, any ideas guys?

 

u guys should come down to bangkok - we got all that stuff rolling around here too the midnight racing scene here is hardcore though.. racing to the death (and i seriously mean that). its like something you'd see in a movie, but actually happens still hell fun to watch

would you believe that the evo 7's that we have did not come from a mitisubishi dealer!! they had brought these in way before the mitisubishi dealers have brought in any. check out the site http://www.trinituner.com. there are a couple showcases of cars. make sure you check out the black skyline.

I saw them, they are really hot! however the Skyline has too many alphabets, If that was mycar (In Trinidad)I would put in an aftermarket computer. Too many different components. One aftermarket ecu will take care of all that.
However they are all hot.
That Civic needs to do some 10 second passes this year, it has all the ingreadients.

 

Had some experience in the caribbean as well, The cars are directly from Japan so they tipically run well
