EDIT: go easy on him guys english is NOT his first language, not everyone that comes on this board is from the usa

but like i told you before in your other thread. if you have a stock h22 which is going to be maybe 170whp if you lucky and then you have a hatch that has 170whp the weight difference is huge between the prelude and the crx. power to weight ratio owns..

if you still feal soemthing is wrong with your car , check to make sure the check engine light is not burnt out, reset the ecu by pulling power form the ecu.

also i HIGHLY recommend you go to a dyno shop and do a pull with an a/f ratio sniffer, then come back and post it up for us

a stock USDM prelude doesnt push 170 at the wheels. a JDM swapped lude with I/H/E has been proven to hit right about 170ish.

If you have a stock type SH you are hitting 150. Maybe with a base model your lucky to get close to 160.

CRX weighs what, 2100 lbs? maybe less. your car (depending on year) weighs in at a hefty 2900 ? almost a thousand lbs difference.

yea in a couple of his threads he has made about this he has said he has all the mods of intake header exhaust etc, so i was expecting 170 at the wheels

but depeding with the driver your probably looking at 1000 pound difference in weight.

don't belive us? TAKE IT TO THE F'ING DYNO!!

I'd say it would be a good race but like oem said, there is probably a difference of about 1000lbs (about 450kg for our JDM friend) between the two cars. The prelude would have more tq but for the weight, the b16 most likely has more horsepower (or kilowatts or PS, whatever the hell they use in Japan) per kilogram. Make sure it's tuned up, get an a/f ratio then go from there if you really think you should be faster.

I don't know how much exact HP you're going to need to overcome a nearly 1000lb weight difference, but its going to be sizeable

Either that, or buy a bike

Well there isn't a stock b16 in the world that is pushing out 170 to the wheels, so obviously he has some money invested in his engine. You need to invest in your engine as well if you hope to compete. But some times you simply cant over come power to weight.
