have you checked 2 see if the plugs that go to your hazerds and dimmer switch are plugged in.the 2 of those will not work if there not plugged in behind the gauge cover.also your spedo is cable it prolly came undone. there are 2 places it could have pulled its self from 1. behind the cluster"mostlikely" and 2.on the tranny vss spot.
why dont you just wire your fan into say your radio so it runs all the time.....your fan switch is prolly just shot.....i have had my fan wired up to my radio in both of my crxs and never had a problem.......as for the rest of your problems check all your grounds.....

Get some jumper wire and hook the fan directly to the battery to make sure it works. (It doesn't matter which wire goes where - it will either spin clockwise or counterclockwise.)
If the fan works then hook it back up and go locate the ECT switch on the back of the motor under the intake manifold. It has a large rubber plug over 2 seperate wires. Diconnect the 2 wires from the ECT and put a paper clip or jumper wire in them to short the two wires together. Start the car and see if the fan is on. If the fan is ON then you need a new ECT switch.
If the fan didn't come on, then test the wires from the ECT for proper connection and test the fan relay.

Check all your wirings and your main relays. I had this problem before and i couldn't do it myself so i took it to a japanese shop and they charged me 60 bucks just to put a new relay switch in
hahahaha god damn ghetto bastads. Can't anyone just replace the fan switch on the engine block!!!
You want the Fan to get power from the main relay, which it does. Normally, if your fan switch works it grounds the fan's circuit at 195F
This is what you must replace. Your fan switch is the 2 slip on wires that are loose over the oil light's slip on plug. Back of the block. Ghetto way to make your fan stay on all the time... just bridge those 2 wires together. Fan will be on whenever the key is in the on position after that.
Don't cut up your wiring. I'm only going to say this once LOL

download the CRX workshop manual. It will tell you all you need to know. just ask it.

good advice for a side of the road repair. repair the circuit and its components; you'll be glad you did, because you will not have to dig through a mess of cablemonsters and wiring rigs the next time you have to make a repair
