Default P28 who? (newb question on Hondata)

I dont know much about ECU's, i was wondering what's the difference between the Hondata S100 and S200 chips? What's the blue box i see in pictures? What's a good Hondata setup for a B16 with the usual I/H/E, CTR cams, and ITR valvetrain? Would use of a Hondata eliminate the need for a V-AFC, or would it be possible to piggyback them?

S200 allows datalogging, ability to tune from a laptop, and other options where the s100 does not.

I would go with the s200 if you feel you can tune by yourself. Yes, hondata will replace the vafc

So with the S200 I would also be able to reuse this chip if i were to decide to switch my setup to a 1.8L, or if i were to alter the bottom end? I dont want to purchase something im only going to have to replace later on. Does the hondata unit need to be tuned by an authorized shop?
