Default Tricky Question

I plan on getting this Megan Racing Water Temp gauge.

The installation is very forward

Wire to 12+ Ing. switch
Wire to ground
Wire to dimmer
Wire to Temp sensor

ISSUE:
I'm running a different year block D15B7, temp sensor is located in the thermostat housing. Currently, it is not hooked up at all nor do I have one there. Just a temp probe for my aftermarket temp gauge. Once I get the OEM temp sensor how would I hook up this gauge?

Thanks in advance

First off stick with a better name brand company for gauges, and no you don't have to go out and by a 200 greddy gauge, autometer will work just fine. I have installed cheaper gauges and lets just say the customer had to buy autometer gauges because the cheaper gauge was way off, and I'm talking way off.

Wait you got me a little confused, so the temp probe thats in there now, where did it come from. You have to use the probe the company supplies you with because its calibrated to go with there gauge. So know you can't use an oem temp sensor. Here is how I have mine hooked up.

Tapped into a coolant line. This will be the most accurate way.

Feel free to IM me or email me if you need any more help.

This is funny! I was talking a Ping83 and he said the same thing as you...just go with autometer, so I just got an autometer oil psi and water temp on ebay $119 with shipping for both. Thanks for the FAST reply!

Kurumamotoring on Ebay sells Autometer gauges, a matter of fact, I just picked up two from them. Spent a total fo $119 for an oil psi and watertemp + shipping for them. I've done business with Kuruma before, picked up susupension from them. Fast shipping and goood people.

I can get you them, just IM or email me what type you want. I know another customer just ordered the same two and they were under $100.
