they just added that little stud notice recently. Damn that really sucks huge *****. I dont think USDM Preludes have those studs. In all honesty i have never seen them and have no idea wtf they are there for. You might be able to drop your suspension then drill and tap in the studs but im not sure what good that would do. Check and see if they got a 30day refund or something.

thats definitely an option...not near as simple as just bolting one in though...

You need to get teh JDM Front suspension bushing...I have the type-s bar. unless you are planning on going aftermarket you need teh JDM Type-S Front Suspension bushing to be able to install the bar. I know some one in Conneticut that sells the bushing for cheap. If you need any more info about it just pm me!
I had the same problem a couple of months ago. I ordered it from ICB Motorsports, told them it didnt fit, sent pictures and numerous e-mails, and it took almost three months to get a refund. I am not saying that ICB is a bad shop, the guys there always took my phone calls and were never nasty, it just took way too long to refund a $130 Strut Bar.
01BB6, you did eventually get the refund?
I ordered from ICB too, and on there site it says something about how I have to ship it back with ups and I have to pay 25% restocking fee. If that is the case, I'll just buy the type-s bushings.

In order to mount this bar properly you need the JDM 5 lug suspension mounts. USDM Preludes have 3 lug mount (obviously) and have covers over the other 2 holes. Some people have used 8mm flat head bolts and nuts to secure their bar, however, the suspension will not seat perfectly (not a good idea). Installation of this bar is involved (drop susp., compress springs) when done right but is well worth it. Honda Type S mounts can be purchased from some parts dealers separately for about $45. I may have some extra laying around, I'll have to check.

I got a full refund from them, they just credited it back to my Visa Card. I did pay the shipping fee to send it back to them, but it was only a couple of bucks. They shouldn't make you pay the resticking fee because the product is advertised that it fits all preludes (at least it did when i bought it)
I talked to icb today, looks like no refund but I may get store credit. To everyone out there thinking of getting this bar, know that you need the aftermarket mounts to use it. 00MugenLude, I hope you can find some of those mounts for me.
