the only way you can really tell is by measuring the compressor wheel, cosmetically they both look the same
Damn man i wish icould tell.... what would be the difference in measurment? do both the super 60 and the 60 have that flange on the compressor outlet? cause i see pics with that flange and some without also if it was just a 60 would i make i huge difference on a b16 eagle rods wiseco pistons 9:1 compresion
wantboost is right. "Super 60" refers to the compressor wheel only so you need to measure that, the cover could be any style.
A regular 60 trim compressor inducer side measures 46.482mm and the Super 60 is 48.26mm. Both share a 60.1218mm exducer measurment.
Personally, I wouldent put either turbo on a b16, especially a built one. It just too much wasted potential regardles of how much 'low end' you want out of your 1.6l 4cyl honda...

um no, a super 60 is wheel not a cover. Even if was the cover you can machine different ones to fit so would still need to measure the wheel to be sure. Generally, your right but you cant say for sure based on that. Besides, pretty much any other t3 compressor cover has the slip fit compressor inlet. I have several 40, 45 and 50 trims that do.

Man there has been a lot of talk about the "super 60" and the regular "60" trim lately...
It would be interesting to see how big the difference between the two really is... probably not enough to offset the extra cost of the "super 60"...
I have a plain old 60 trim .48/.60 and it works just fine
I wouldn't worry about whether or not it's got a 60 trim wheel or a super 60 trim wheel, the compressor maps are pretty similar anyways... just put it on your car and have fun with it!

Yes I'd like to see the difference too! Right now I'm running a 63/60 T3 off of a 300zx and have thought about going to a super 60. But I figure for the cost and trouble, I'll just up the psi by 1...
thanks guys for the info. so i guess there is no real way to tell unless i measure it. anyway the compressor maps are preety similar between the 60 and super 60, For a 300hp goal and daily driver from what i've read the t3 60 or super 60 is one of the best turbos you could get because of the quick spoolup and the fact that it can support 300hp easily, i dont really care about drag racing just somthing that slams me back in my seat stop light to stop light! have you guys with t3 60 or super 60's have good experiences with them?
