What are good compression numbers for 9.1 turbo motor?

Default What are good compression numbers for 9.1 turbo motor?

i have a b18c with 9.1 pistons eagle rods .20 over what should my compression numbers be?

Example: 176,175,176,175

Around 185 seems good.

How many miles are on your setup? #'s look consistent, and nothing unreasonably low. What headgasket are you using? Those #'s look about right considering most stock z6's will crank out ~180 (9.2:1) and y8's will crank out ~190 (9.6:1).

My motor has had a difference of 30 psi cranking on different days in different locations. Weather, altitude, how many cranks, etc, all have a huge effect on your compression. If the numbers are very close, you're gravy. It's unlikely that you're going to get rings or valves leaking in every cylinder at exactly the same rate, so you're fine if the numbers are close.
