problem with hondata s100 and i dont know why???
last week i took my car to PA to get the s100 installed in the car. i had already a p28 ecu with the conversion harness. all i needed is the s100 chip and it was ready to go. there were no pervious cel's with the p28 ecu i had. when hondata was installed and pluged into the harness a cel appeared. the tuner and i of course i had no idea why the cel was coming up. so basically i took a 2 hour trip for nothing. do these problems happen with hondata alot. i thought i was convinced hondata was a good thing but i became pretty pissed off. now do i blame the tuner, my car, or hondata for this. any opinions on people who have hondata and what should i do now..
what does cel say? if theres any interruptions with signal from ecu to hondata box cel will appear and hondata box will be flashing every couple seconds. i had this problem once it was bad cable, describe your problem a bit more
****, i just realised you dont have a hondata box with s100.. so theres no cable.. try hondata website.. its either the hondata unit faulty or ecu itself

What vehicle do you have?
If you have a OBD2 car did you use a Hondata ECU or an OBDI ecu with conversion harness?
If you can find someone local with an S200, I would try a few different things:
1) Remove the S100 board and install an S200 box (if you can borrow one)
2) Try a different ECU w/ your chip and S100 board
3) Try a different ECU w/ an S200 and your chip
4) Try a different chip in your original set-up
