Default engine light code 41 - 02 sensor

41 Primary Heated O2 Sensor Heater Open or short in Primary O2 sensor heater circuit

my ecu is throwing code 41 how do i fix it? i already changed the o2 sensor but it's still on and im running rich. i might have wired it wrong, the o2 sensor wires go directly to the ecu right? anyone have a wiring diagram for this? my car is a 92 hatch obd1

dumb question, but did you reset your ecu?

is your o2 one wire or 4 wire? some of the canadian version civics came with one wire o2 sensors.

i got the same code being put out from my ECU.. i had a friend replace my clutch when it went out they disconnected the o2 sensor and also reverse sensor on the tranny.. i get the car back and the check engine light was on.. i have not replaced the o2 sensor but i probably wont now that you have done it and it still has not fixed the problem. i have not fixed it yet but i think that all i will have to do is splice the wires together and make sure the electrical connector isnt fucked up.. i have not noticed and change in gas mileage or anything.. have you experianced anything similar???
