d15b japan motor wont start
Remove and inspect the distributor cap and rotor. If there are signs of carbon deposits, cracks or excessive wear, then replace them. If that doesnt work, then you can replace the wires and spark plugs. If that doesn't solve the problem, it's either the distributor itself or something more serious.

The thermostat housing is, lo and behold, covering the thermostat. Almost directly behind and below the distributor, from the front of the car. The black rubber hoses go into it...
I think the problem is more likely the ignitor in the distributor. Either replace the ignitor (cheap and relatively easy) or try another distributor (not so cheap, but very easy)

where did you bolt it and where is it supposed to be bolted? just finished my swap and bolted the ground to the engine bay below the battery tray. can't remember where it's SUPPOSED to go to
i doubt this is the reason my car wont start, but i'd like it to be in the right place anyways.
