Default chipped ecu on nitrous?

why isnt it good to run a chipped ecu with nitrous? i have a chipped p28 for my b16 swap, i'm not sure what program, i bought the car with the swap. i've read that the chip advances timing. the thing is if i take the chip out wouldnt i get a cel and the car run like crap. especially since it probably eliminated the knock sensor. let me know

if you take the chip out and cut the jumper on J1 it will run the stock program on the ecu. It is not advisable to run a N/A program on nitrous for the timing reason. You could pull it on the distributor. I think that hondata has a nitrous control on it, I am not 100 percent about that, because I don't tune hondata. But depending on what ecu you have, it won't throw the knock sensor. If the ecu matches your car b16=p30 b18c1=p72 b18b=p72 d16z6=p28 you will have no problem just cutting the jumper and taking out the chip and running the stock map.
