Default good d series setup

i have a 91 crx and im wanting to build a d series up. i have a full d16a6 and a d16y8 motor settin in my shop. i have a d15b6 in my crx now with an A6 head on it right now with an si tranny.. my question is what should i get to build up a good motor. which block would be best to use . would a full y8 motor be better than just using the y8 head for mini me? another question is should i use my stock crx si ecu with a vafc to controll vtec or should i get a p28 ecu? thanks for any help . i need a sh** load.

Put that y8 in there and set it up for obd1. Get a obd1 dizzy and the p28 ecu.

I've driven a y8 ef hatch before and it pulls pretty nicely. I'd drop that in there and then build the a6 on the side that is if i were you.
