Default Mini-me odb2 y8 head/ecu to odb1 cx question

Here's a question I couldnt find a definitive answer to. I also am finding that search doens't work today or I would have looked harder. I have the ability to pickup a low mileage 97 y8 head and ecu. Includes both manifolds, TB, all sensors and dizzy.

I want to use this for my 95 cx but am wondering if it would be a huge pain because of the diff in obd1 vs obd2? Do I need new injectors, extra o2's etc or should I just look for a z6 head?

Bauley or any other mini-me experts feel free to chime in...

Probably the easiest way would be to use the Y8 head and distributor and stock intake manifold... if the Y8 manifold was from a manual, it may work, I'm not sure about the wiring. You definitely will have to rewire for the OBD2 distributor. You should also use and OBD1 P28 ECU, as the P2P will be exceptionally difficult (read next to impossible) to make work.

b7 OBD1 dizzy works in a y8 head. that solves the OBD2 to OBD1 problem. pretty sure your stock injectors work also, not positive though.

Bauley says use the y8 head, cx (d15b8) dizzy, and a obd1 p28 ecu...

So basically I should ...

Use the y8 head, but use my cx injectors/clips/etc, use an odb1 distributor (y7, y8 or z6?) .

Can I use the y8 inake mani and swap sensors? Or will the odb2 sensors that are already on it work fine?
