D16y7 with Z6 head?
well my friends brother just donated a Z6 head to me, and i was wondering if you can put the z6 head on the y7. I've heard it was possible and then i heard it wasn't. Can some one clear it up for me?
TIA.

yeah you can do that, you just need to run EX ecu, your stock injectors, and posiblty a y8 intake matifold or maybe a z6 one will work (not sure if the sensors on obdI intake matifold will work on obdII). I think it should because I hear people swapping a y8 IM on z6 so it should be pretty close to bolt on and plug in play.

it's prolly pretty much like balleycivic mini me. Just follow the instructions. You might need to use your intake matifold or better yet a z6 one. But I think all the sensors are the same except the fuel injectors just swap yours over to z6 IM. Everything else is pretty straight forward. Just hook up a vtec, and run p2p (I think that's the EX ECU).
I know this has been done numerous times just search and I guarantee you will find something.
