ABS on 96 coupe
This weekend iam attempting ABS installation in my civic. I know its not easy and
i could stay without a ride for few days.
I have a jdm civic SIR (RH) Which i will take all i need (interior wire harnes,ABS ecu,ABS pump, front end wire harness..etc.) .From what i can forsee its strait forward procedure hope for no surprises.
Has anybody attempted ABS installation & is it worth all the work.
My coupe has itr 5 lugg conversion.
you input is appreciated.

From what I've seen its not worth it at all. You do know you have to change ALL the hard lines that go throughout the car as well dont you? I think it's just a major waste of time and money for the results, but if you really want it have it, I say go for it.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Thank u for response, All i need is available & its free All i pay for is some labor &
brake fluid.
I even got itr ABS proportioning valve to accommodate the 5lug conversion.
In Jordan most cars com without ABS so junk yards just through them away.

your car is also RH right? the brake lines will be copletely different for LHD and RHD, as will the wiring harnesses for the ABS computer. don't forget the appropriate front axles with the ABS sensor ring on them
