i just put a new ground on my battery to my frame and i started my car it was running ok and then it started to dimm the lights in and out i aslo dont have a ground on the front of the motor to the frame near the lights on my 90 civic hb you know the one on the right side that goes to on ur valve cover i was thinkin that is part of my problem but not sure . if u got any answers let me know ... jason&jesse...

 

Add another ground from the valve cover to frame and see if your problem is corrected.

 

The valve cover ground doesn't work very well on it's own. you need to go from the frame(where you just mounted your battery ground) to the Tranny (clutch cable bracket)
