I'm running 8-10 lbs on a stock d16z6. I have 195/60/14 tires on my stock 14 inch del sol alloys. In my garage I have some old LS wheels off of my old 91 teg. I have heard you can fit 205/??/14 azeni's and other tires on these. Does anybody have any reccomendations or know where I can find these?I looked at vulcan tire and found only 195/60/14's. I just want something cheap that will give me better results at the track. I was having some trouble with traction this past summer and 2.4 60 ft's, so I'm looking for a relatively cheap tire that will yield better times.

look into the BF goodrich drag radials. you can get them in 215/60/14. worked well for me back when i used 14" wheels

 

will they fit stock 14 inch wheels?theyre 14x5.5 i believe?How much do they usually go for and where's a good place to look for them at?azeni's are like 50 bucks so they would kinda be ideal

 

i had the BFG's on a 14x6 wheel. so i would believe you could fit them on a 14x5.5. From Jegs, they cost 105 each. Or you could go with a 205/50/14, and they cost 110 each.

 

can anyone confirm that they will fit?I'd hate to buy them and have them not fit the wheels....

 

I have 205/55/14 Nitto 555r drag radials on my HX wheels (14x5.5). I ran the tire pressure at 12 psi on the track without any problems and pulled a 2.0 60 foot. I run anywhere from 16-20 psi on the streets.

what 60' times, were you getting with those tires?

 

i got 2.0 60's every time. never got a 1.9, but came pretty close. And that was at like 20 psi. I'm sure if I dropped the tire pressure down a little, I could of hit a 1.9
