Default first run with castrol syntec 0w30....

what a difference.....I was running the 5w 50 oil and surprisingly i have the same oil pressure as b4 and the car isnt as sluggish as it was the the glue. I was expecting a pressure drop because upon pouring it into the engine it was noticably thinner but the pressure is still the same. I might even consider running this stuff when it gets a little warmer out now that I have an oil cooler.. I recommmend this oil to anyone looking for a real fully synthetic oil!!

What's your setup that you require such expensive oil?

I just changed the oil in my new hatch. After reading up I decided to run Mobil 1 5w-30 Synthetic. So far no complaints.

Bone stock D15B7. Pennzoil 10w30. $7 for a 5-qt. jug. Never let me down.

built y8 with 10.9 to 1 comp...when we broke the engine in with caca petroleum oil it broke it down really quickly...i used mobil 1 and it burned the oil off too much..now ive been using the castrol for almost a yr now and no problems... and it seems to withstand the high temps that my engines creates.

Regular maintanence. Whats an oil change take? 30 minutes? I'd rather do an oil change every 2 weeks than pay 5 bucks a quart on oil.

my mobil 10w-30 synthetic is 5 bucks a quart, but i can got 7500 miles and still have clean oil...so im guessin me buying 4 quarts for 20 bucks and it lasting that long is worth it

Oh well, I dont mind my 3k oil intervals. If nothing else its a reason to lay under the car and look around.
